About permanent makeup
Permanent Cosmetics, also referred to as micro-pigmentation, cosmetic tattooing or dermal-pigmentations, is a process where completely natural pigments are implanted beneath the epidermis (top layer of skin), into the dermal layer (second layer of skin), by micro insertion. This technique has been medically developed and specially designed for a safe permanent application. Natural looking eyeliner, lip-liner and full lip-color can now be safely and comfortably applied to the dermal layer of the skin. The pigments used have been specially formulated for cosmetic application. Not to be compared with traditional tattooing, in which permanent skin dyes and inks are placed into the skin.

Longevity of permanent makeup
A variety of factors influence the longevity of Permanent Cosmetics. Ultra-violet exposure from sun or tanning booths, various drugs, excessively dry skin, and smoking are all factors that may affect the lifetime of the cosmetics. Alpha-hydroxy, Retin-A and glycolic acid must be kept away from treated areas. These kinds of substances slough away top layers of the skin and eventually the layer that the pigment has been implanted into. Avoid using chemical peels and exfoliating scrubs over the permanent makeup. Sun block on eyebrows, sunglasses and SPF on lips will greatly prolong the effective life of these procedures. The use of some make up removers may jeopardize the longevity of your permanent makeup. Be sure to use a sun block once lips are healed. Do not use any Glycolic, Hydroxy, Carmex or Fruit Acid products on lips.

Are you interested in getting everything done at once: Eyebrows, Eyeliner and Lips? A full face application saves you money instead of doing each application separately. Plus, you are healing at the same time. It will take around 3-3 1/2 hours to do permanent makeup full face. We will choose and select from different colors, shapes and looks that accentuate your natural beauty!

Color Refresh Applications
A color refresh or color boost is necessary as your permanent makeup fades and lightens over time. Many factors contribute to permanent makeup fading. Color refresh applications are recommenced every 2-6 years. Some applications may require yearly refresh applications.
During your color refresh application pigment, definition, design and shape will be adjusted. This will give your permanent cosmetics a refreshed look!

Permanent Makeup must be original work of Erin Meier, CMM to qualify for Color Refresh price. On all permanent makeup color refresh applications, a 60-90 day touchup is NOT included. An additional touchup can be performed for a $150 fee.
Permanent Makeup | Microblading Correction
Do you have permanent makeup or micro-blading that needs to be enhanced or corrected? Erin Meier Aesthetics can improve and correct permanent makeup or microblading procedures! The use of specialized pigments can conceal, camouflage and correct applications that did not turn out the way you expected. It may be the pigment has faded to an undesirable color or too dark or the shape or thickness needs to be enhanced. Don’t get discouraged, there are ways to enhance permanent makeup applications!
